Walking through Christmas Wonderland

Auch der englischen Sprache bin ich nicht abgeneigt. Deshalb hier ein kleines Winter-/Weihnachtsgedicht.
Da das aktuelle Wetter leider nicht ganz dazu passt, muss dieses Bild vom letzten Jahr genügen ;)

A glance at the window veiled in ice:

It’s winter outside.

Like the dress of a merry bride

White snow is sparkling in the sun so nice.

Greeting in town there’s furthermore

Gingerbread and candlelights.

Today let’s forget all the fights,

Enjoy this market’s gems galore!

A happily playing marching band

Smile at the people around.

All of them truly resound

With the spirit of Christmas Wonderland.

I’d like to go outside today,

I’d like to feel the atmosphere.

Surrounded by snowmen and tracks of deer

This is where I’d like to stay.

Meeting some children, beginning to talk:

Don’t you agree it’s a wonderful start

Of the season that’s nature’s finest art?

It’s winter, let’s go for a walk!
